Bedankt voor uw reactie. Ik ben momenteel geswitcht van Apple naar Windows. Heb het met Windows 10 geprobeerd op deze pc en ervaar geen problemen. Het is voor mij momenteel dus niet nodig om dit probleem op te lossen. Mocht ik er anderen mee helpen door antwoord op uw vragen te geven, dan hoor ik dat graag en zal ik mijn MBP erbij pakken. Zo niet, dan is het wat mij betreft op dit moment afgehandeld.

Ik gebruik al jaren gemistdowloader op een windows PC. Na installatie van gemistdownloader op mijn mac (OS Sierra) worden de gekozen bestanden bij NPO.nl niet gedownload. Ik krijg de volgende foutmelding:

Hoe kan ik dit oplossen?

Goedendag,

Gisteren heb in GemistDownload geinstalleerd op mijn MacBook 12” Early 2015, macOS 10.12.3. OS is engels met een Duits toetsenbord.

Bij het downloaden van volgende link op NPO.NL breekt het programma direct af met de volgende output in Terminal. De tweede Terminal dump is de output van de download van RTLXL.NL Deze start zonder problemen (Verbinding is tergend langzaam met 4fps) en is goed te bekijken.

Ik heb op het forum identieke foutmeldingen gezien. Misschien helpt dit om een oplossing voor het probleem te vinden. Het zou zonde zijn dat die

Ik zit dus met precies hetzelfde probleem als Hameu en kan gemistdownload niet installeren op mijn macbook. Is hier inmiddels al meer over bekend? Alle reacties zijn welkom!

In de nieuwe versie van GemistDownloader zijn er twee dingen veranderd die beter moeten helpen de fout op te sporen in de problemen op Mac/Linux.

Kunnen jullie de laatste versie downloaden en aangeven (a) of het werkt, en (b) zo niet, welke foutmelding je nu krijgt.

De gemistdownloader voor linux probeert tijdens het opstarten een verbinding te maken met http://www.helpdeskweb.nl/ (verkregen met de --trace optie). Als het niet lukt om deze verbinding te maken dan blijft de applicatie lang hangen (een minuut ofzo) met hoog CPU gebruik zonder het scherm (de GUI) weer te geven. De applicatie sluit daarna vanzelf af zonder verder een melding te geven.

Kan er een wijziging worden gemaakt dat de applicatie deze web request niet uitvoerd? Voor mij lijkt het voldoende dat de applicatie alleen verbinding maakt met de npo website.

Door het starten vanaf de command line is de volgende exception zichtbaar:

Ik zou ook nog verbose (-v), debug (--debug) of tracing (--trace) informatie kunnen geven als het nodig is.

Helaas krijg ik het programma ook niet meer goed werkend. Hij deed het altijd zonder problemen, maar als ik nu op Start downloaden klik, klapt het programma er meteen uit. Wat doe ik verkeerd/wat moet ik aanpassen om het wel goed te laten werken?
