Genereren van Video URL NPO2 Extra werkt niet meer

Hallo, sorry, my dutch is really bad - so I'll write in english... On page "Themakanalen van Publieke Omroep opnemen" I can't generate the Video URL for NPO2 Extra anymore. It only shows "Bezig..." A few weeks ago it worked just fine.
The same for NPO1 Extra and NPO3 Extra.
All other channels still work fine.
I hope someone can fix this. Would be really great. Because this page is a great help to me.

At this very moment downloads from NPO are not possible anymore it´s protected with DRM. I can´t tell you if it is ever going to be solved.

Thanks for your response. I tried NPO 1 for example. It works perfectly. I think the only channels that aren't working are the NPO Extra channels. At least I can't get the URL.

I just looked into this, it appears to be no longer possible to generate livestream URLs from websites other than npostart.nl itself. The current method stopped working for the 'extra' channels only for some reason; I expect the others (like NPO 1, as in your example) to stop working at some point to.

Sorry to disappoint you. You can still retrieve the URL yourself by using browser ntools (F12) but it's not as easy as it used to be with the generate button on this website.

Thanks so much for looking into this! I used the F12 method several times on other sites where I managed to find the m3u8 file. But until now I wasn't successful on the NPO site. I don't want to bother you but I would be grateful for any small hint. Where do I have to look for the m3u8 file?

In the Network tab, after you have started the live stream, you should be able to find the manifest URL by looking for the Dash file type.

Note that NPO's default stream type is now Dash rather than HLS (m3u8). Most media players accept Dash (.mpd) too if they accept HLS.
