Dank voor je duidelijke beschrijving.
Als ik je stappen volg, kan ik het niet reproduceren onder Mac OS X, Xubuntu of Windows.

Treedt dit probleem altijd op bij die link, of af en toe?

Inmiddels van OSX 10.9 naar 10.11 overgegaan en niet alleen doorstond GemistDownloader voor Mac deze major upgrade zonder "in de hoek gezet te zijn" maar ook werkt het nu vlekkeloos!  

Vergeet het probleem dat ik meldde onder OSX 10.9 - het kan aan van alles gelegen hebben maar in ieder geval specifiek voor mijn iMac.

Ik heb Mono geïnstalleerd en ook GemistDownloader, bij het klikken op GemistDownloader.command opent de applicatie ook en kan ik de url pasten van een video. ALs ik vervolgens op "verder" klikt, krijg ik volgende melding:

Kun je controleren of een link van bijv. RTLXL.nl wel werkt? Zo ja, dan slaat de melding op het niet kunnen vinden van GDFetch2.dll - een bestand dat automatisch zou moeten worden aangemaakt bij het starten van GemistDownloader.
