Werkt ook hier gelukkig weer !
ik heb alleen het idee dat downloaden in vergelijking met eerder(!) langer duurt.
Kan dat kloppen?

Hierbij een schermafdruk van het downloaden met gemeten snelheid van het internet (glasvezel, UTP-bedraad naar Laptop), de door GD aangegeven downloadtijd, en de bestandsgrootte.

Ik heb de nieuwe versie geïnstalleerd en eerst werkte het niet (met de default instellingen). Toen bedacht ik ineens: laat ik de resolutie aanpassen (standaard staat hier 480p), want misschien is de video die ik wil opslaan wel van een hogere kwaliteit en heeft hij moeite met het comprimeren. Dus resolutie op 1080p gezet (dat was wat het origineel had) en hij ging nu zonder problemen; ja het duurt wel langer, maar dat is natuurlijk logisch doordat het bestand nu eenmaal een stuk groter is. Ik ben blij!

Wil ik onder Linux Mint 19.2 Xfce (gebaseerd op Ubuntu Ubuntu 18.04 LTS (Bionic Beaver)) een Youtube-flimpje downloaden met Gemistdownloader GTK 2.9.0.10 en klik ik op de knop "Start downloaden", crasht dit programma. Draai ik dit programma in de terminal met de commando /usr/bin/gemistdownloader, krijg ik de volgende meldingen:

Waat gaat hier nu mis, waardoor Gemistdownloader crasht bij het downloaden van een Youtube-filmpje? En wat moet ik zelf doen om dit probleem te verhelpen?

Hallo, ik ben nieuw op het forum, maar al lange tijd tevreden gebruiker van GemistDownloader. Na enige tijd de software niet gebruikt te hebben, heb ik gisteren en vandaag geprobeerd de software weer te gebruiken (na de updates te hebben geinstalleerd). Het lukt mij helaas niet meer om filmpjes van youtube te downloaden. Ik krijg telkens de volgende melding:
